All the classes (i.e. lectures, tutorials and practicals) for FOCS courses (i.e. core, technical, specialized and elective) from Week 1 - Week 14 (long semester) and Week 1 - Week 7 (short semester) are to be conducted according to the scheduled timetables (unless otherwise specified), released by the faculty office.
Guideline for Academic Staff (clause 6.3) - HR Guideline
Clause 6.3: Academic staff who failed to replace classes must provide explanation to their Dean/Head on their inability to do so.
Academic staff to notify office / department for cancellation / replacement of classes. Approval must be obtained from faculty.
All the replacement classes should be arranged according to the structure in timetable or in F2F structure.
Online mode is possible provided the physical venue (lecture hall, tutorial classroom, computer lab) is
unavailable / clashing with students' timetables, etc. The application is subject to the approval by the AD/Dean.
Not allowed to combine classes even though classes on Saturday / late evening.
No class to be scheduled / arranged on public holidays and / or Sundays even though in online mode.
